Ick! (2019)

Following the daily experiences of a boy in his roach infested home, we learn that seemingly big problems can have quick fixes. Drawing from personal experiences of living with bugs, I related the persistent and overwhelming aspects of infestation to everyday worries outside the home. However, the solutions to these problems may be in arms reach where we least expect it.

Visitor (2018)

An old woman comes across an uninvited guest. Dealing with concepts of distorted perceptions of self, and internal change, I used stop motion to create a simple, yet surreal narrative. Here we see a character transform from felt to plasticine, yet seemingly she remains the same.

Gurgle (2019)

In Gurgle, I explore the negative and positive ways in which the web has affected commodity culture. On one hand, the Internet has facilitated an even greater ease when it comes to commodification, even extending to a person’s identity, mental illness, and more. On the other hand, the Internet provides young artists with a platform aside from the gallery setting to present their work and in a sense, commodify it.
